Alzheimer's Reading Room
Thankfully, as it becomes more and more evident how beneficial programs in the arts are to Alzheimer's patients, more and more museums are stepping forward to provide these programs.
Below I have listed a sampling of these programs, offered by art museums for the benefit of Alzheimer's patients. Anyone living near these museums could benefit from these programs. If you don't live near the museums listed below, I would suggest calling your local museums. They may also have such programs or may decide to institute new similar programs.

Max Wallack is a student at Boston University Academy. His great grandmother, Gertrude Finkelstein, suffered from Alzheimer's disease. Max is the founder of PUZZLES TO REMEMBER , a 501(c.)3 charitable organization. PUZZLES TO REMEMBER is a project that provides puzzles to nursing homes and other institutions that care for Alzheimer's and dementia patients.
