I did not come to this conclusion over night. It happened as part of my metamorphosis as an Alzheimer's caregiver.
Alzheimer's disease and the behaviors caused by Alzheimer's disease are hard to understand. Most cargeivers conclude that you cannot do anything about these new, strange behaviors. They are wrong.
How would you know if you never tried to change the dynamic?
You have to learn patience and determination as an Alzheimer's caregiver. One thing you must do is come to the understanding that life goes on. Not only your life, but the life of the person suffering from Alzheimer's disease.
